ITV Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid announces exit as she says 'it's my last day'

Susanna Reid revealed to Good Morning Britain viewers that it would be her 'last day' on ITV as she takes a short break for the holiday season.

The presenter had been discussing the 1 Million Minutes campaign, which encourages people to donate their time to those in need, with a particular focus on combating loneliness during the festive period.

During the show, Susanna celebrated the campaign's success and confirmed to viewers that it would be her "last day" in the studio before returning in the new year reports the Mirror.

The campaign reached a record-breaking high, and an elated Susanna couldn't have been happier as she announced at the end of the show: "Right, ending on a positive note, our amazing 1 Million Minutes campaign," as 124 million minutes flashed up on screens - a new record high.

Susanna added: "I just want to say thank you to everybody who has pledged their minutes and added to that campaign". "We have a special programme on, on Christmas Day but this is my last chance to say thank you to you before Christmas because it's my last programme before Christmas Day and we have got to 124 million minutes."

Meanwhile, on Tuesday's programme, Susanna appeared visibly irritated on the ITV show, during a conversation with entertainment expert Richard Arnold.

They had been discussing the upcoming I'm A Celebrity reunion, set to air this Friday on ITV1 from 9pm, when Susanna questioned Tulisa's noticeable absence.

Susanna Reid expressed disappointment during GMB as she inquired, "Is that going to include Tulisa? " and was met with Richard's succinct "No."

She appeared visibly annoyed when he elaborated, "No, because she's back in Britain."

leading Susanna to question the lack of a follow-up. Responding, Richard offered, "She's still processing her journey, I'm sure we'll see more of her come the new year."

Her frustration grew as she remarked, "She did brilliantly on the show, it's a shame that she feels like she can't take part."

Richard concurred, noting Tulisa's strong connection with Oti: "It is because she had such a great bond with Oti as well."
