The iconic I'm A Celebrity is back on our screens, with Ant and Dec steering ten fresh faces into the wilds of the Aussie jungle for another rollicking adventure.
Kicking off the new series, the show wrangled the stars into two groups; half starting their journey in a lush villa, the other half convening on a sandy beach.
But as the first episodes hit our screens, fans were puzzled by ITV's choice of high-drama tunes.
Social media was abuzz on X, previously identified as Twitter, where one viewer quizzed: "Whoever is responsible for the music on I'm a celeb are getting too carried away... Why are they playing a dramatic version of the lion sleeps tonight? ? ?"
Someone else was bamboozled, writing plainly: "The music choice is wild sorry #imacelebrity," reports the Express.
Meanwhile, another moaned: "WHY DO THEY DO DRAMATIC MUSIC NONE STOP. LIKE INTERSTELLAR OR SOMETHING. STOP IT ! #IMACELEB."
Yet, despite a few raised eyebrows over the soundtrack, the excitement was undeniable as one aficionado enthused: " I can tell that this year's series will be so iconic #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity."
Echoing the sentiment, another fan expressed: "So excited that IAC is back @antanddec @imacelebrity #imacelebrity."
The premiere episode wasn't all about the music though, it also saw celebs duking it out to nab the title of the first camp leaders by plunging into a slew of nail-biting challenges.
Tulisa and Alan emerged victorious, selecting Danny and Barry to face the first Bushtucker trial. The duo were placed in underground chambers, tasked with unlocking stars from padlocks.
In classic I'm A Celebrity style, they were joined by 15 snakes as they lay on the ground. Amidst the challenge, Danny hollered that he had a snake in his trousers, leading to an animal handler stepping in to remove the reptile from his pants.
