Die-hard vegetarian Alan disclosed on social media that his experience with meals on I'm A Celebrity differed vastly from his fellow campmates. Curious fans had speculated on what Alan consumed while braving the jungle, prompting him to reveal via an Instagram Q&A session that he enjoyed specially prepared food that never made it to television screens.
When questioned by a fan, "Did you give up being veggie whilst in the jungle? ", Alan responded candidly, "No they send a veggie equivalent. Generally something very bland, plain tofu... etc.", reports the Mirror.
Having graced the Cobbles since 1998, Alan stands as one of Coronation Street's most prominent figures. His heartfelt embodiment of Tyrone has seen the character evolve profoundly, endearing him to legions of fans.
Alan's jungle journey was unexpected, but among the trials and tribulations, he found camaraderie with his fellow celebs, forging bonds that transcended the challenges of the wilderness.

After his return from Australia today, Alan was eager to reunite with Sienna. On his flight home, he shared on Instagram how much he missed his 11-year-old daughter, saying it was "impossible put into words" his excitement to see her.
He also opened up to his campmates about Sienna's initial struggle with him joining I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, revealing: "That's going to be really difficult. She has found the idea of me going difficult. It is only in the last two weeks or so that she has come around to the idea."
Alan admitted the separation would be challenging, adding: "We never spend more than two weeks apart. I am very emotional about Sienna, so it will be interesting to see how I cope. I tend to try to hide my emotions but with Sienna I'm not very good at all - I think I will have several blubs. She is 11 and so I'm hoping I won't embarrass her."
