Jada Pinkett Smith ‘Looking Frail’ on Date Night With Will Smith: It’s Being Kept ‘Hush-Hush’

3 weeks ago 8

Jada Pinkett and Will Smith have had their ups and downs in recent years, but a source exclusively tells In Touch they’re working hard to mend fences and make things work moving into 2025 – even if her recent appearance has given cause for alarm amongst friends and fans.

Jada, 53, and Will, 56, dined out in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 7. The actress arrived at the restaurant looking frail, not helped in any way by a shaved head and bleached eyebrows. While the couple put on a romantic display for the first time in months, at least publicly, social media users began commenting on how sickly Jada appeared in the photos.

Will “looks like her [caretaker]” one commented.

Another wrote, “Man, Jada is looking rough. What’s going on with her?”

While others suggested Jada didn’t “look healthy,” during the outing.

The attention on Jada’s wellbeing wasn’t lost on the source, who is close with the couple. “A lot of people are speculating about what’s going on with Jada because something definitely seems off,” the insider says.

“She’s looking very frail and just not the vibrant powerhouse people are used to seeing. Whatever’s happening is being kept super hush-hush.”

Despite the couple’s relationship being rocky over the past few months, the insider says that their marriage is back on track.

“One thing that’s clear is Will’s stepping up in a big way to support her and get her back to feeling her best. He loves to take on the role of the knight in shining armor and normally Jada pushes back against that. But this time she seems to be welcoming his efforts and is letting herself be totally taken care of for once, which has had a really positive effect on their relationship.”

In May, the two appeared together for the first time since Jada announced she and Will had been separated for seven years in October 2023. This most recent date night seems to suggest they’re going strong now, though, especially with the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star helping his wife.

“Last year was super busy for her and the feeling is that her intense work schedule caught up with her, not to mention all the struggles with Will, it’s no secret they were pretty much going their own separate ways,” the source adds.

“They’ve pulled back from that and Will is totally doting on her and it seems to really be helping their marriage, they’re a couple again and all the break-up talk has been silenced.”

As In Touch previously reported, despite the couple on the brink of a breakup from months of terrible press, they’ve been able to reestablish and maintain their one rule: “Don’t cause any type of scandal.”

While some had assumed their’s was a marriage of convenience, the Bad Boys actor has been making it clear he really cares for Jada, beyond the overly-performative protectiveness he put on display at the Oscars.

Will has even told talk show host Drew Barrymore, “We’re staying together forever.”
