Diddy was named in the lawsuit alongside the Brooklyn mogul.
JAY-Z has been accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in a new lawsuit.
NBC News reports that Hov, along with Diddy, were both named in a lawsuit accusing the moguls of raping a then underaged Jane Doe. Tony Buzbee originally filed the suit as a part of the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act in the Southern District of New York in October, where it only included Sean Combs. However, the suit was refiled on Sunday (Dec. 8) to include Shawn Carter.
Jane Doe’s suit recalls the alleged graphic incident at an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty in New York City, where a friend dropped her off. The woman claims to have not been invited to the party so she approached numerous limo drivers hoping to get into the exclusive event. One driver then claimed to have worked with Diddy and that she “fit what Diddy was looking for,” ultimately inviting her to the afterparty.
The driver then transported her to the event, where she was then forced to sign, what she thinks, was an NDA. Her suit details entering the party, where she recalled seeing celebrities partaking in a bevy of drugs, such as marijuana and cocaine. Jane Doe allegedly then sipped on a drink that was offered to her, which made “woozy, lightheaded and felt [like] she needed to lie down.” Feeling the effects of the drink, the woman claimed to have gone into another room to do so.
She was then allegedly met with the arrival of Combs and Carter, with Diddy shouting at her, “You are ready to party!” At this point, the suit claims that Carter took off her clothes, pinned her down, and began raping her while Diddy and an unnamed female celebrity watched. Diddy then began allegedly raping the woman as JAY-Z and the unidentified woman watched on. Diddy then allegedly attempted to force her to give him oral sex, but she claimed to have stopped him by “hitting him” in the neck.
Jane Doe’s suit claims that she then “grabbed her clothes,” went to a gas station and had her father take her home.
Doe is seeking unspecified damages.
JAY-Z and Roc Nation responded to the suit shortly after the news broke on Sunday on X/Twitter. The statement, which appears to be written by Carter himself, takes aim at Buzbee, claiming that the man previously attempted to blackmail him and his lawyer.
The Brooklyn native’s missive then went on to give love to the “true victims in the world” and labeled Tony Buzbee’s filing nothing more than “an ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.” Carter then firmly drew a line in the sand, asserting that he “protects children” while Buzbee only “exploits people for personal gain.”
Shawn Carter concluded his statement by vowing to show Buzbee that he isn’t like “other celebrities” and that he “looks forward to showing you how different I am.”
