A former protégé of JAY-Z’s seemingly reacted to those shocking child rape accusations against him.
Foxy Brown took to Instagram Stories this week to share a series of cryptic posts — right after the rapper was named in a lawsuit alleging he and Diddy sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at an afterparty in New York following the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards. He has denied the allegations.

So, how did the musician seemingly react? The 46-year-old Get Me Home artist posted the words “WOW” and “WAIT” with a shocked face emoji. She then shared a single cold face emoji. Hmm.

Were these posts about JAY? She did not explain the meaning behind the messages. But given the timing, we would not be surprised if this was her way of weighing in on the controversy against him! As Perezcious readers may know, Foxy, whose real name is Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchand, was a former mentee of JAY-Z’s. She was signed to Def Jam Recordings when he was president of the label — and she was just 17 years old. They frequently collaborated together, including on her 1996 song I’ll Be. Similar vibes as the Justin Bieber and Diddy mentorship…
Foxy even had to address rumors she had a sexual relationship with JAY-Z while she was underage and forced to sign an NDA back in October. She clapped back at the “fake news” on Instagram at the time, per Billboard:
“NDA? Ain’t a MF alive that could stop my story. NDA on my sh*t gon run 100 mil. Stop playin’ wit ma name dyin’ for a comment! Can’t spin me with the sucker sh*t to take Hov down. Betta ask ’bout tha cloth I’m cut from…Y’all want me to be anti-Hov so bad.”
Hmm.
We expect she won’t be the last of JAY’s former colleagues reacting to the situation. Thoughts on the posts, Perezcious readers? Share them in the comments!
