If you’re looking for a great Cyber Monday deal on a new soundbar, look no further. The JBL Bar 5.0 Multibeam is 50% off — a $200 savings that brings the price of this Dolby Atmos soundbar down to just $200. And while the Bar 5.0 won’t replace a full home theater system, it’s a great choice for small-to-medium-sized rooms.
Most compact soundbars lack major features when compared to some of their bigger competitors. With the Bar 5.0 Multibeam, JBL focused on putting as many features as it could into a single speaker that’s small enough to fit into any space.
Its wireless audio support is excellent, with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, including Apple AirPlay 2, and Google Cast (formerly known as Chromecast), and it works with Alexa Cast too. In fact, this speaker can be controlled by Siri, Google Assistant, or Alexa, and each of these smart home systems will let you add the Bar 5.0 as part of a multiroom system.
Surprisingly for a smaller soundbar, you also get a 4K/Dolby Vision compatible HDMI input and an optical input, in addition to the standard HDMI ARC/eARC connection. Even Bose’s and Sonos’ best soundbars don’t offer these features.
As I mention in my in-depth JBL Bar 5.0 Multibeam review, I’m also a fan of the big, easy-to-read digital display that lets you see volume level and the currently playing format — no need to decipher color LEDs.
But the real draw is the sound. The Bar 5.0 excels at filling smaller spaces with very convincing surround sound for movies and shows, whether you’re playing 5.1 sources or Dolby Atmos content. It’s especially rewarding to listen to Dolby Atmos Music if you have a compatible device like an Apple TV 4K for Atmos playback from services like Apple Music or Tidal.
You can use the included remote (or your TV’s remote) to control the system, and JBL includes wall-mount brackets in the box.
The only caveat is that the Bar 5.0 is very much an all-in-one product. You can’t expand it with external subwoofers or surround speakers. And while the Bar 5.0’s bass is a serious step up from any built-in TV speakers, it’s not going to deliver a truly cinematic rumble. As long as you’re OK with this limitation, I think the JBL Bar 5.0 Multibeam is a great Cyber Monday deal.

Sony’s best Dolby Atmos soundbar is $400 off right now
So you have a 4K or 8K smart TV. That's great. But no home theater is complete without a proper sound system. Breathtaking audio can launch any entertainment experience to new heights, transforming it into an immersive, one-of-a-kind event. Imagine hearing those jets flying overhead or the explosions and gunfire shaking the living room walls. You'll get that with Sony's HT-A7000 7.1.2 channel soundbar with Dolby Atmos. It offers 360 Spatial Sound to envelope the room and uses unique sound mapping technology to do it. Here's the best part, though. Thanks to a Sony soundbar deal at Best Buy, it's $400 off. This is one of the best soundbar deals out there right now. Usually $1,400, you can grab it today for just $1,000. Did we also mention it has the Google Assistant built-in?
Why you should buy this Sony soundbar deal on the HT-A7000
Perfect for any room at just about any size, the Sony HT-A7000 features a host of audio technologies and features to deliver the ultimate at-home theater experience. You get 360 Spatial Sound, which essentially creates phantom speakers around you, sound field optimization to calibrate the audio stream to your environment, and high-quality video passthrough with Dolby Vision. But that's just the start. Dolby Atmos audio, DTS:X, and integrated UI and controls through the BRAVIA quick settings offer even more to love.

One of the best Dolby Atmos soundbars is 30% off for Prime Day
We love hunting for the best Prime Day deals every year, especially when it comes to products that we're passionate about, like the best soundbars. And boy have we got a doozie for you. The Vizio Elevate soundbar, which we reviewed earlier this year, normally sells for $1,000. At that price, it's a great buy. But at today's Prime Day price of just $680, it's as close to a no-brainer as we have yet to see. New models rarely get discounted like this, so a 32% savings is just too good to pass up.
What makes the Vizio Elevate such a good soundbar is its ability to convincingly render Dolby Atmos content. Dolby Atmos is an amazing surround sound format, but many Atmos-capable soundbars struggle to give the magical "height" sound effects the presence they need to be appreciated. Not so with the Elevate. Thanks to its ingenious rotating side speakers, the front soundbar can bounce sound off your ceiling and reflect it back at your listening position.

The LG C4, one of the best TVs for most people, is on sale for Cyber Monday
Whenever someone asks me what TV they should buy, I always say, "An OLED, if you can swing it." Sure, there are important follow-up questions -- like what's the TV room like and what's the budget -- but the answer is still almost always an OLED. The one that I've recommended more than any other is LG's C Series, which this year is the LG C4. As our very own Caleb Denison said in his review, "everyone should have this TV." It's why he gave the C4 a review score of 4 out of 5 stars and we put it on our list of the best TVs. Right now, you can get the 65-inch model for $1,500, which is $1,200 off its MSRP.
So what makes the LG C4 the OLED that everyone should have? It has outstanding picture quality, great processing, and the perfect blacks we expect from an OLED TV. LG's gaming experience has stepped up over the years with Game Optimizer, and the TV supports variable refresh rate (VRR), has a low input lag, and is all-around excellent for gaming.
