Jennifer Lopez can't seem to quit Ben Affleck as she makes move to get closer to him again

What was supposed to be the perfect love story ended up crashing back down to Earth in 2024. The relationship unraveled quickly yet their divorce developed slowly, but Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage came to a halt a few months before the end of the year. Everyone saw the writing on the wall, but it took forever to come to fruition.

Now fully separated, the two would likely love to really branch out on their own paths, but that isn't completely possible due to the bond their children developed together and with their parents throughout the short marriage. That has led to Lopez and Affleck being seen together sporadically since the divorce, sometimes even with Affleck's ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, also present.

Affleck really appears to have moved on romantically from Lopez, having recently bought a $20 million mansion that he had to evacuate due to the wildfires in the Palisades area. Seemingly unbothered by the fires, Lopez is now looking to purchase a home right next to Affleck in Brentwood, Los Angeles, according to TMZ.

Of course, that's the same L.A. neighborhood where Ben purchased his new home after they split. We're told Jen "really likes" the home, but has "serious concerns" about the air quality around it... She likes the place enough to bring in an air quality specialist to test the area before going any further in the purchase process.

That would put her in close proximity to Affleck. One would assume Lopez would want to fully close that chapter of her life, but it seems she may not be ready to just yet.
