Ben Affleck seems to be turning over a new leaf after his recent split from Jennifer Lopez, sporting a fresh look and making lifestyle changes that have people talking. The actor's transformation has raised some eyebrows, especially from his ex, who is reportedly unhappy with the timing.
Known for his casual, laid-back style, Affleck has embraced a more polished appearance lately.
"Ben is suddenly going out of his way to pamper himself and look his absolute best," an insider told In Touch.
"He's now dying his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, getting waxed from head to toe. He's even getting hair plugs and seeing the dermatologist for skin treatments to turn back the clock."
"Even his diet is cleaner. He's cut out a ton of the junk."
Affleck's new, fresh look
The actor stepped out in Santa Monica on October 3, looking noticeably different while spending time with his son, Fin.
Wearing a neatly pressed blue button-down, black slack and polished shoes, Affleck's new, groomed style was on full display. Even his hair and beard had been neatly trimmed, with the usual gray streaks seemingly absent.
"It feels like a total slap in the face because it's sending this message that she wasn't worth making these changes for, but now that he's single and looking to impress new women he's willing to step it up and stop being such a slob," the source added.
"Everyone is telling her he's just a middle-aged fool who didn't deserve her, but she's seething and feeling pretty let down too."
Affleck and Lopez rekindled their romance nearly two decades after calling off their first engagement in 2004. Despite years apart, they always spoke fondly of each other and rekindled their relationship in 2021, eventually marrying in July 2022. However, the fairy tale didn't last long.
Less than two years into their marriage, signs of trouble emerged. The couple spent most of the summer of 2024 apart, even missing their second anniversary.
