Jennifer Lopez has been "worried and busy" about Ben Affleck after the actor was forced to leave his $20.5 million home in Pacific Palisades due to the Los Angeles fires.

A source exclusively told Page Six that the "Unstoppable" actress has been particularly stressed about her ex's welfare since she "found out he had been evacuated".

JLo attentive to Ben and his children

JLo, 55, "has been watching over Ben throughout this whole awful experience and let him know that she's there for him and the kids," the source said, referring to the children Affleck shares with Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

"She offered her support for anything they needed, and assistance in any way she could," he added.

Affleck and Lopez, who first got engaged in 2002 before splitting two years later, rekindled their romance in early 2021 and got engaged for a second time a year later. However, the singer filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024.

Despite settling their divorce less than a week ago, the source explained that Lopez "reached out as soon as she heard Ben's house was in danger and that he had been evacuated."

On Tuesday night, Page Six obtained photographs of a concerned Affleck, 52, driving out to Garner's house as California wildfires threatened his home, which he bought just five months ago. However, on Wednesday the "Argo" actor returned to his estate after learning it was still standing.

"Ben's house is still under evacuation order, but he is very grateful that his property is safe for the time being," another source said.

"Ben knows many people who unfortunately lost their homes. He has seen a lot of devastation and it is more than a tragedy. Ben reaches out to anyone he can to help," he added.

Celebrities who have lost their properties

However, other celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Adam Brody, Mel Gibson, Miles Teller, Jamie Lee Curtis and several others were not so lucky, losing their homes completely.

On Tuesday night, the wildfire quickly got out of control and began to spread through Palisades and other areas of Los Angeles, destroying everything in its path.

The fires, which have been described as the most destructive in California's history, have claimed the lives of at least 10 people and displaced more than 300,000 California residents.
