Jennifer Lopez Revealed That One Major Thing Hasn't Changed Amid Ben Affleck Divorce

Jennifer Lopez is moving on from her marriage to Ben Affleck, but there’s still one aspect of the relationship she’s hanging onto. Her Dec. 8 Instagram post with her stunning, black “revenge” gown revealed that she’s still living in the former couple’s Beverly Hills estate. 

Lopez and Affleck listed the home in July, shortly after they separated for the summer. He spent his time filming The Accountant 2 on the West Coast and she enjoyed the Hamptons on the East Coast. While she was summering with the A-list elite, Affleck scooped up a $20.5 million Pacific Palisades residence just down the street from his first ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. 

The Instagram snapshot showed her in various spots in the $68 million home, from the kitchen to her dressing room. It doesn’t look like she’s ready to move yet either because her place is decorated for the Christmas season. That doesn’t mean Lopez isn’t looking ahead to the future though. Despite one possible buyer already falling through, the 55-year-old superstar is hoping to reside in a different home for 2025. 

The Daily Mail spotted her house-hunting on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Beverly Hills and Brentwood. If she lands in Brentwood, Lopez would be close to Affleck’s new estate. That might be an opportunity for their blended family to stick together since Affleck’s daughter Violet, 19, has stayed in touch with Lopez while Lopez’s 16-year-old teen Emme enjoys spending time with Affleck’s middle child, Fin, 15. 

In September, TMZ reported that “a couple from New Jersey fell in love with their 38,000 square foot Beverly Hills area home” and offered them $64 million. The sale fell through when a death in the buyers’ family forced them to pull out of escrow. The estate has languished on the market since then, but Lopez is obviously staying put until an interested party makes her an offer she can’t refuse.
