Jennifer Lopez stormed out of a packed event with fans after she was abruptly quizzed over her ex-boyfriend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The 55-year-old singer and actress dated the disgraced rapper for two years, from 1999 to 2001, and has so far refused to comment on her ex after he was arrested in September. The music mogul will go on trial on sex trafficking charges in May next year, as well as drug possession and firearms offences, and denies all charges.
During an autograph signing event, JLo was ambushed with questions from fans about her recent divorce from Ben Affleck, and managed to sidestep discussing the heartbreaking split. However, her relationship with Diddy was soon brought up, leading the star to exit the event. According to reports, a fan approached the Hustlers star and asked, “JLo, do you have any comments about Diddy and the allegations?” The singer allegedly stopped the signing and exited the venue.

Before his arrest, the On The Floor hitmaker had previously discussed her “tempestuous” relationship with the rapper, and described it as “emotionally exhausting”. She claimed she called time on their romance after he cheated on her repeatedly, and added: “And we broke up many times before that, and got back together and broke up again, and nobody knew about it.”
“It was very tempestuous. Towards the end it was emotionally exhausting. It was good that I was young,” JLo shared. Diddy is currently in a New York jail awaiting his trial on federal sex trafficking charges, which will begin in May. He was arrested on 16 September, and it was alleged by prosecutors in a 14-page legal indictment that he “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfil his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct" from at least 2008.
He was also hit with two new lawsuits while awaiting his trial, after a boy alleged the rapper had sexually abused him when he was just 10. Court documents state that the victim claimed he had attended an audition in California with Diddy, but was given a spiked drink and sexually assaulted by the rapper. When the boy awoke, Diddy threatened to hurt the boys’ parents if he told anyone what happened. In the second filing, a 17-year-old boy claimed the rapper forced him into sexual acts during a three-day audition for the Making the Band TV show.
