‘Jeopardy!’ takes jab at Travis Kelce in shady clue about Taylor Swift romance: ‘More famous as a boyfriend’

“Jeopardy!” is getting slammed online for dissing Travis Kelce in a clue during their broadcast Wednesday.

In a category called “The TV Show in Question,” there was a clue for $200 that read, “‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’ is hosted by this man who’s maybe more famous as a BF than as a 3-time Super Bowl Champ?”

A contestant named Derek then replied, “Who is Travis Kelce?,” which “Jeopardy!” host Ken Jennings said was the correct answer.

Fans of Kelce, 35, and his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, immediately took to X to sound off on the clue.

“jeopardy was NASTY with travis kelce today,” one person commented.

Another agreed, “Jeopardy with some Travis Kelce shade tonight.”

Page Six has reached out to the game show’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Kelce’s rep has also not returned our request and the NFL star has not commented on the matter.

However, it’s not likely that Kelce will be too upset over the clue, as he’s previously embraced being Swift’s “arm candy.”

“It’s the life I chose, I guess. I have fun with it,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told “CBS Mornings” in September.

He also admitted early on in his relationship that Swift “put him on the map” for people who perhaps didn’t follow football or were familiar with him before.

Putting his humility aside, though, Kelce certainly has an impressive career in his own right that spans from sports to Hollywood.

He has won three Super Bowls, hosted “Saturday Night Live” and recently made his acting debut on Ryan Murphy’s FX show “Grotesquerie.”

That being said, some saw the “Jeopardy!” mention as a compliment, though, with one person writing via X, “Making Papa Kelce proud by being a Jeopardy answer.”
