Jeremy Clarkson revealed he was left "barely moveable" after he became faced with a fresh health concern.

The 64-year-old Clarkson's Farm star recently revealed he underwent a "life-saving heart procedure". It came after medics discovered he had an "alarmingly high level" of cholesterol.

This diagnosis has compelled the ardent meat lover to abandon his favourite foods and embrace a healthier lifestyle. In his column in The Sun, he says he must live in a "Liberal Democrat, holier-than-thou fog of weeds, seeds and yoga".

Clarkson has now revealed he has suffered another health setback. Speaking to The Telegraph, he explained he fears he has a "slipped disc".

Despite having a suspected back injury, Clarkson says he is hopeful of joining farmers as they protest against Sir Keir Starmer's government. Around 20,000 farmers are expected to protest Labour's tax hikes on Tuesday.

While Clarkson isn't expected to take the stage at the rally, he has expressed determination to join in solidarity with the agricultural community, stating optimistically that he will "get there somehow".

The protestors aim to influence reconsideration of the envisaged taxation policies, stressing their potential impact on family-run farms.

Protesters assembled in Llandudno over the weekend, where Starmer was delivering a speech at the Welsh Labour conference. The Prime Minister defended the Budget "all day long", stating it involved "tough decisions that were necessary to stabilise our economy", reports Gloucestershire Live.

He declared: "I will defend facing up to the harsh light of fiscal reality, defend tough decisions that were necessary to stabilise our economy, and I will defend protecting the payslips of working people, fixing the foundations of our economy, and investing in the future of Britain and the future of Wales, finally turning the page on austerity – once and for all."

Clarkson has emerged as a farming advocate after launching Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds in 2020.

His journey from purchasing the land to developing it into a functioning business has been chronicled on Amazon Prime's Clarkson's Farm.
