Jessica Alba Said She & Husband Cash Warren Were More Like 'Roommates' WAY Before Split!

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are dunzo! The shocking news hit fans hard and completely out of nowwhere… but was it? It seems like this unconscious uncoupling has been a long time coming…

The couple have called it quits, according to reports on Wednesday. It’s unclear when the separation actually happened, but we hear they’re hurtling quickly towards a divorce! So sad to see a couple lose what makes them a great married couple after 20 years together like this… But with the way Jessica was talking about their relationship back in 2021, it sounds like it’s been a really gradual move towards growing apart.

In a resurfaced interview with Katherine Schwarzenegger on her Instagram show Before, During, and After Baby, Jessica said a LOT about the state of her marriage in just a few words:

“It’s all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates. You’re just going through the motions. You have the responsibilities. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes, right?”

Oof!

The first TWO AND A HALF YEARS?? That’s it?? Maybe that’s what it was like for her. That is NOT the ideal though! Sounds to us like the magic was GONE, and she just didn’t realize it! And sadly it seems they never got it back…

In another part of the interview, the Good Luck Chuck star even hinted at some marital issues and admitted they didn’t “treat” each other “the best”:

“We have, like, obviously the friendship, the comfort of, like, ‘you’re not going anywhere,’ and so sometimes you don’t treat those people the best, right? You don’t consider their feelings in the way that you would consider other people’s feelings. So that is something that I think is a constant one to work on.”

Ouch. She didn’t sound very optimistic at all. Despite her saying she and Cash were always “confronting issues” and that they had a good streak of “being able to communicate when [they’re] unhappy”, it wasn’t enough in the end.

How sad for a nearly two-decade long marriage to end this way — especially when they have kids Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. We hope they’re able to get through this tough time quickly and amicably for the sake of their fam.
