Joe Biden to Donald Trump at White House Meeting: 'Welcome Back'

President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump briefly met with press in the Oval Office to discuss the "smooth transition" of power ahead.

Biden told the President-elect, "Welcome back," and that he's "looking forward" to a "smooth transition" and promised he will "do everything that we can to make sure you're accommodated."

Trump responded "cool" and then went on to agree that the "transition will be so smooth."

"Politics is tough and in many cases it's in many not a nice world but it is a nice world today. I appreciate it very much," Trump said. "The transition will be so smooth. It'll be as smooth as it can get and I very much appreciate it."
