Joe Swash has broken his silence following his alleged fierce exchange of words with wife Stacey Solomon before she jetted off to Las Vegas to see Adele live in concert.
They reportedly had a heated row before storming off in separate directions, but now Joe has shared a snap of himself and three of the kids posing at the airport with a sign welcoming her back home. He admitted he'd "messed up" - but not in the way viewers might think.
Instead of referencing the row, Joe apologised for accidentally labelling Stacey a "nun" on the sign, rather than a "mum" to their brood. The Sort Your Life Out star has two older children from previous relationships - 16-year-old Zachary and 12-year-old Leighton - and three aged five or under with Joe, called Rex, Rose and Belle.
She's also step-mum to Joe's son Harry. The colourful sign, decorated with hearts, read: "Love U Nun", but despite the blunder - and getting jokingly called out by Stacey for it, as she vowed she'd "convert" - Joe rationalised that the kids had been totally oblivious.
He wrote on Instagram: "The kids were super excited 2 show mummy the welcome home board they made!! (Even tho I messed up the Ms! The kids didn’t know a thing) We all miss her so much! Just ain't the same without you @staceysolomon xxxxxx."

Stacey's response made it clear that any animosity between them had melted, as she laughed: "I go away for 72 hours and looks like Rose has drawn on her socks in red marker."
Then the Loose Women fave quizzed: "And when did I become a NUN?"
One fan rationalised: "You’ve still got to hand it to him, he brought the kiddos to the airport and you got a sign… even if you are now a nun!"
Another wrote: "Absolutely howling. Are her toes actually coloured in? Dad points for the sign though haha xxx."

A third follower chimed in: "This is absolutely brilliant! The moments we live for!"
Then a fourth applauded: "This is exactly how we'd all expect our partners and kids be waiting for us and not picture perfect! I absolutely love the realness of this post."
Stacey joked on her own Instagram account: "People: What's the first thing you'll do when you get back? Me: I'll be scrubbing the marker off of my daughter's feet and converting to become a nun!"
Adding that she'd had an "unforgettable" three days in Vegas, Stacey tearfully thanked fans, telling them: "I would never have had the chance to go on an adventure like this if it weren't for every single one of you."
