It's the moment we've all been waiting for: People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2024 has been announced!
All year we've been quietly observing as we try and figure out who could possibly take home the crown.
We've seen some huge stars step into the spotlight this year – Hugh Jackman got ripped for Deadpool & Wolverine, Glen Powell made us all swoon in Twisters, and Paul Mescal became a household name thanks to Gladiator II.
But, despite everyone's valiant efforts, there could only be one winner – and John Krasinski has been crowned People's Sexiest Man Alive for 2024

"Just immediate blackout, actually. Zero thoughts," he told People about the moment he found out he had won.
"Other than maybe I'm being punked. That's not how I wake up, thinking, 'Is this the day that I'll be asked to be Sexiest Man Alive?' And yet it was the day you guys did it.
"You guys have really raised the bar for me."

Krasinski, who is married to Emily Blunt, shared that the actress was "very excited" when she heard her husband had won.
"There was a lot of joy involved in me telling her," he said.
The competition has been running since 1985 when Mel Gibson was crowned the Sexiest Man Alive.

Since then, we've seen several winners including Adam Levine, Ryan Reynolds, Paul Rudd, and George Clooney – twice.
In 2019, CNN spoke with People magazine's Editor-In-Chief at the time Dan Wakeford to find out what it actually takes to be crowned People's Sexiest Man Alive.
"There are so many different variables and ways of approaching it," he said.

"A starting point often is, when we want to make a decision, is to think about the zeitgeist, think about what is sexy at the moment. What do people find appealing at the moment?"
Wakeford shared that they look for someone with "character," adding that some of the other key criteria are someone, "Who is hot, who is doing really well, and who actually is sexy."
