Andy Cohen thinks Nicole Kidman has some new competition heading into 2025.
During CNN‘s New Year’s Eve Live With Andy Cohen & Anderson Cooper, the two co-hosts had Jon Hamm on for a segment, where Cohen told the actor that he’s now the “male Nicole Kidman” because of his numerous projects this year.
Cohen asked Hamm: “Do you feel as an actor you should share a little bit more?”
“Listen, I’m achieving peak Kidman, I think you called it. I love it. It’s all I can do. I love working. I get to work on great stuff and yeah, why not me? I vote yes, more me,” the Mad Men star replied.
Cooper also chimed in, adding, “Why not? I agree. I want more Jon Hamm.”
Hamm has had a stacked list of projects come out this year, including Landman, Unfrosted, The Morning Show, Mean Girls, Fargo, Grimsburg, Transformers One and more.
While Kidman is known to be consistently leading several films and TV shows. Her recent credits have included Babygirl, Expats, The Perfect Couple and A Family Affair, among others.
Cohen also noted that 2025 will mark the 10-year anniversary of Mad Men‘s finale.
“Well, obviously, it’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done in my career,” Hamm said. “I guess what I really am impressed with is that now new generations are kind of discovering the show.
Hamm continued to explain how he’s “especially” grateful for the fans in Chicago, which has a “huge advertising fan base.”
“30-year-olds go up to me and are like, ‘Oh my God, I love that show,” he said. “I was like, ‘You were 10 when it came out. What are you talking about?’ But, it’s impressive and it’s obviously, it’s something I’m tremendously proud of.”
