Josie Gibson is celebrating her 40th birthday and has had an incredible career after first gracing our TV screens in 2010.
The mother of one rose to fame when she took the crown during the eleventh season of Big Brother. Ever since, she’s become a household name appearing on TV shows including I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and landing a role on ITV’s This Morning.
It’s not always been glitz and glam for the star, who worked in a call centre years before her rise to fame. The star processed insurance claims at AXA’s headquarters in her hometown of Bristol. Ever since bagging £100,000 from her Big Brother win, the star’s net worth has continued to soar.

Josie began her This Morning stint in 2019, where she began as a competition announcer, however, her bubbly presence that won the hearts of the nation during her Big Brother stint landed her a bigger role on the show in 2021. In a statement at the time, Josie said: "I’m completely honoured. Whenever I’m sitting there hosting the show, I often look around and think ‘how the hell did this happen to me?’"
Josie was then called in to host the show alongside Holly Willoughby after Phillip Schofield’s shock departure, which left fans calling for her to be a regular host.
Most recently, the star featured in fab festive special, Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide with Josie Gibson and then announced she would be away filming for her upcoming Channel 5 series First Class Travel, which is set to grace our tellies in January. That’s not all, as she also told Bristol Live she’d been filming a show about the 1970s, again for Channel 5.
Despite her huge TV jobs, Josie still resides in her hometown Bristol with her six year old son Reggie. Josie moved into a new build in 2022, but admitted it took her a while to feel like home. Speaking to OK! She said: "It didn’t feel like home for a long time as it was a new build. It was completely empty.
"I had to get Georgina to make it feel more homely as I’m rubbish with turning bare spaces into something. It was a little bit soulless before, but now I love coming home.”
