JR Motorsports has confirmed that First Bank of Alabama will return as a sponsor for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series.
The bank's name will feature on the cars of rising stars Connor Zilisch and Carson Kvapil, decked out in a striking blue, white, and gray color scheme.
The team posted to social media:
"BANKING on some fun weekends at 'Dega. @FirstBankofAl returns to JR Motorsports in 2025 at @TALLADEGA, backing the rookie duo of @Carson_Kvapil and @ConnorZilisch.
JR Motorsports has assembled a formidable lineup for the upcoming season. Alongside rookies Carson Kvapil and Connor Zilisch, the team includes reigning champion Justin Allgaier as well as the promising Sammy Smith.
With a legacy to uphold, Carson Kvapil is following in the footsteps of his father, Travis Kvapil, the 2003 Truck Series champion. Meanwhile, Connor Zilisch boasts an impressive record with past achievements including setting the Truck Series qualifying record at the Circuit of the Americas and a debut Xfinity Series win at Watkins Glen.
The aspirations of JR Motorsports are geared towards nurturing drivers with potential for the Cup Series, and Justin Allgaier's experience as a Cup reserve driver backs this ambition.
Beyond First Bank of Alabama's sponsorship, Carson Kvapil enjoys backing from Bass Pro Shops, while Connor Zilisch is supported by Carolina Carports and Kampgrounds of America.
The 2025 Xfinity Series season brings with it schedule changes. Races at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, Rockingham Speedway, and Gateway are back, while events in Michigan, New Hampshire, Richmond, and one of the Darlington dates are off the table.
The season kicks off with the Daytona 300 in February and wraps up with the championship race at Phoenix Raceway in November.
