BBC presenter Jules Hudson was inundated with support as he shared more about his new career venture away from TV.
The archaeologist and television producer, 54, is best known for his appearances on BBC shows Escape to the Country and Countryfile, but has now turned his attention to something completely different.
Earlier this year, Jules revealed that he took a 12-week furniture-making course at the Boat Building Academy in Lyme Regis, opening up about his keen interest in reclamation, recycling and repurposing old furniture.
The TV star has now turned his passion into a career as he recently launched The Jules Store. Located in Hereford, the new store features a stunning range of handmade furniture and other items created by the presenter.
Ahead of the opening on Saturday (November 16), Jules reflected on the "long journey" he's been on, adding: "But the start of something exciting which I hope you’ll enjoy too."

Jules later took to Instagram to mark the successful opening, sharing snaps of his handmade furniture such as a large wooden chair, a table, as well as other items including branded clothing.
He penned: "We did it! The Jules Store launched today, so huge thanks to the amazing team at @warehouse701 and everyone who came along today to say hello and talk design.
"It’s early days and more items are on their way, but it’s great to finally have a home from which to showcase all the hard work from the workshop."
The property expert added: "Join us if you can on 5th December as we launch our first Christmas season with evening drinks and the chance to explore all that 701 has to offer. We even have some Jules Store merch!"

Jules received an influx of supportive messages as fans congratulated him on the impressive new venture.
One wrote: "Congratulations Jules, so happy for you!" as another posted: "Wow!! Those items you've shown are amazing. That first washstand for me is stunning! But love them all. Are they all 'one off' pieces? Fabulous work Jules... a dream come true."
A third added: "Look at that smile on your face Jules. You're brilliant. The idea was brilliant and here you go it’s wonderful."
Echoing this, another commented: "Huge congratulations. Love this!!! I have a Rayburn with copper pipes exposed in my country hovel, so love pieces for the kitchen that have that aesthetic!"
