The season finale of Real Housewives of New York was about as dark as it gets in the Real Housewives universe. Brynn Whitfield has a lot of explaining to do in the upcoming reunion, especially to Ubah Hassan. Brynn basically admitted to wrongly accusing Ubah of knowing about her sexual assault while Ubah was making digs about Brynn’s sexuality. She didn’t flat-out say she made it up, but her story wasn’t adding up. It’s a mess of epic proportions, and we don’t even know where to begin unpacking it all.
RHONY fans have a lot of opinions about Brynn following that explosive season finale. As we’ve learned in the past, A-List celebrities are included in the Bravo fandom. Julia Fox recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where she gave her opinion about her hometown Real Housewives. As expected, when Andy brought up the Brynn debacle during the finale, Julia had plenty to say.
Brynn Whitfield lost a fan
Like the rest of us, Julia was shocked, in a bad way, by Brynn’s performance on the RHONY finale and beyond. “I love her but she kind of lost me this season a little bit,” Julia said. While she started her comments off nicely, Julia’s opinion is a bit stronger than that.
“She’s really kind of demonic a little bit,” Julia said bluntly. “It’s manipulative.” I can’t help but agree after all of the strings that Brynn pulled throughout RHONY Season 15. However, the situation is undoubtedly a tangled and triggering web. It’ll be interesting to see how Brynn defends her so-called “demonic” behavior when the reunion kicks off next week.
The Real Housewives of New York reunion starts Tuesday, January 28 at 9/8c on Bravo.
