Juliet Cocktail Room Hosts Jeremy Renner Vegas Event to Support Children in Foster Care

Jeremy Renner knows a thing or two about giving back — and he showed up big time when hosting the inaugural Heroes Fore Kids Charity Weekend in Las Vegas.

Vegas may be nicknamed "Sin City," but there were nothing but inspirational celebrations all weekend long, starting on Saturday, October 19. The charity-filled weekend, which benefitted the Avengers star's own RennerVation Foundation, was specifically aimed at helping children in Nevada who are in foster care.

"I'll always be a champion for a kid," Renner said at the event, which was held at the Juliet Cocktail Room in the Venetian Resort. "Knowing the blessings I had in my life that I know a lot of kids don't have. When you contribute beyond yourself and give, you're probably going to win at life."

Renner, who has since recovered from a near-fatal snowmobile accident in January 2023, kicked off the weekend's festivities on Saturday with a star-studded Celebrity Poker Showdown — with the Marvel actor quipping that many of his A-list friends "lost money" in the poker tournament in order to support the RennerVation Foundation's worthy cause.

Also on the itinerary for the weekend were a Celebrity Pro/Am Golf Tournament and an All-Star Concert. Renner also attended a Lenny Kravitz show.

As for the stars who were in attendance during the charitable weekend, notable names — including actor Richard Kind, actor and director Timothy Busfield and athletes like figure skater Richard Zander and former NBA star Festus Ezeli — were on hand to support Renner's foundation and fundraiser.

While the main focus of the weekend was to raise money for Nevada foster kids in need, Renner had a side project he was working on in Vegas.

"We're working on a film tax credit that's very important," he shared, seeming to hint at renovating Nevada film laws.
