Justice delayed is justice denied and justice denied is Amerikkka’s way of telling Black people, brown people, and other marginalized people to stay in our places and “STFU”. However, Amerikkka has greatly underestimated our resolve.

Back in November, BOSSIP reported on the hanging of a second grader at Barnhart Elementary School in Waldorf, Maryland. The boy was found by the school’s principal and had to be hospitalized due to his severe injuries. An unnamed fourth grade student is alleged to be responsible for the hanging during “horseplay” amongst the boys.

Police were quick to dismiss any notion that this might be a hate crime according to a Fox5DC reports. Let them tell it, there is no evidence that anything criminal took place and put the onus of the school to enforce punishment. Because of the fourth grader’s age, law enforcement officials say that they cannot file criminal charges. The family of the second grader plans to hold a protest today at Laurel Springs Regional Park and is urging the community to join them in calling for accountability and transparency.

NBCWashington is reporting that the family plans to file a lawsuit against and also that the school plans to “impose discipline to the serious nature“ but would not be more specific than that.
