KANYE West feels more accepted in the United States now that President Donald Trump is back in office, The U.S. Sun can report.

Kanye made a scene on the red carpet at the Grammys on Sunday by instructing his wife Bianca Censori to drop her fur coat, revealing an "invisible" dress.

She appeared almost naked in the couture piece as she posed for paparazzi before the pair suddenly got back in their limo and left.

A source told The U.S. Sun the pair had tickets to the Grammys as Kanye was nominated, and he only ever planned to turn up and create a media moment.

But another source said he was "kicked out" of the event.

On Tuesday, he posted about Bianca now being the most Googled woman on the planet.

The couple is spending more time in the U.S. after months out of the country, and insiders say they feel more accepted.

"Ye has always backed Trump, even when they've not been speaking as much. He feels he's more supported now he's back in office," a source said.

"Ye has always seen himself as being invincible and wanted to prove he could bounce back from being canceled.

"He doesn't want or need the support of major fashion houses or record labels anymore and is happy to do it all on his own so he has more creative control."

TRUMP PRAISE

A second insider, who previously worked for Kanye, also said he's seeing a lot more support because of his attitude.

"Everyone thinks he's back because he asserts himself as a billionaire again without the help of Adidas, Gap, or Sony."

During a recent return to social media, Kanye 47, praised President Trump, who returned to the White House last month.

Kanye posted on X, "Trump’s back in office. Ye’s back a billionaire. The world might just be ok."

He later added, "I risked my life to wear a red [MAGA] hat then he turned it black."

Although he appears to still back Trump, he did not attend the inauguration.

TMZ obtained a clip from his new chat with podcast host Justin LaBoy which was projected at his Grammys after-party.

He claimed "censorship stigma" caused him to miss the event.

"I was gonna go to the inauguration but they told me I had to write another apology, saying yeah, that I wasn't … what’s the word?” Kanye could be heard saying in the clip.

"Antisemitic," LaBoy asked, to which Kanye agreed, but confirmed he would not apologize again for his previous comments.

Kanye mispronounced the word several times while trying to explain why he wouldn't apologize again for his comments, and joked he confused the word with "antisympathetic."

Inside Kanye and Trump's unlikley friendship

The pair have been friends for years but their relationship has not been without its ups and downs.

2009 - Trump was allegedly not an early fan of Kanye after he interrupted Taylor Swift's Grammys speech. According to TMZ, he felt like the rapper's behavior was "disgusting" and urged people to boycott him to ensure "this kind of thing doesn’t happen again."

2014 - His attitude towards Kanye then changed over the years and he reportedly sent the rapper well wishes for his wedding to Kim Kardashian. "I certainly wish them the best of luck," he told Extra. "I know them well and they’re both very nice people."

2015 - Kanye announced he was running for President in 2020, and Trump told Rolling Stone he supported his move. "He's actually a different kind of person than people think. He's a nice guy," he said. "I hope to run against him someday."

2016 - Kanye went on a 25-minute rant during his Saint Pablo Tour in San Jose in which he discussed politics and endorsed Donald Trump. He was later hospitalized after suffering from exhaustion. He met up with Trump after he was released and tweeted that they had discussed "multicultural issues."

2018 - Kanye caused a stir when he decided to wear a MAGA hat during a guest performance on Saturday Night Live. He started to rant about politics and was later cut off. After the show aired Trump tweeted his support for Kanye. "He's leading the charge," he told followers. Later on that year he visited the Oval Office and delivered a 10-minute speech.

2020 - As he began his campaign for the White House, Kanye told Forbes he was no longer a Trump supporter, explaining he was "taking the red hat off". But his presidential campaign later fell apart and Joe Biden became the next President of the United States.

2021 - Kanye declared he was once again supporting Trump in a wide-ranging interview with REVOLT TV's “Drink Champs”.

2022 - Kanye reportedly annoyed Trump by turning up to a dinner at Mar-a-Lago in Florida with Nick Fuentes and the meeting prompted an avalanche of criticism. Trump claimed he didn't know of his guest's background. Trump reportedly later claimed that Kanye had betrayed him by ambushing him.

2023 - Kanye claimed he was still planning to run for President in 2024 but the campaign eventually fell apart for the second time, and he was filmed by paparazzi expressing his support for Trump.

2024 - Kanye and Bianca were seen stopping by a Trump rally in Los Angeles and the rapper continued to openly support the future President before he was elected for the second time.

2025 - He explained during a podcast interview with Justin LaBoy that he was invited to Trump's inauguration but was asked to apologize again to the Jewish community and declare he is not an antisemite, which he refused to do.

Kanye was previously canceled for declaring war on the Jewish community in a series of tweets in 2022.

He apologized in a since-deleted Instagram post.

"I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused," it read, translated from Hebrew.

“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future."

Last year, Trump spoke fondly of Kanye despite his public outbursts.

He described the controversial rapper as "complicated," but praised his character.

Trump said, "He's a really nice guy but he can get some people into trouble. He's got a good heart ... he does, he does, but he’s complicated."

Kanye, who previously ran for President himself, also turned up to a Trump rally in Los Angeles last year.

A video surfaced on TikTok from a fan who spotted the rapper and his wife in their Tesla Cybertruck, as they opened the passenger door to speak to supporters.

Upon realizing Kanye was driving, the attendees didn't hold back their excitement as they waved their American flags and banners.
