Kate Middleton’s Reported ‘Mission’ To Reunite the Royal Family May Take On a Greater Urgency

Kate Middleton might have a New Year’s resolution that could be a game-changer for the royal family if she’s successful. The Princess of Wales is reportedly motivated to reunite Prince Harry with his family, particularly with King Charles III.

It seems that she’s concerned that time is of the essence with the monarch’s age and cancer battle. “Kate wants the family to reconcile. With the king’s health continuing to decline, there’s only so much time for that to happen,” a Life & Style source claimed. “Kate is on a mission to bring Harry home.”

Kate’s own illness earlier this year made her realize that “life is too precious” and “she fears time is running out.” The source alleged that the 42-year-old royal was already in touch with the Duke of Sussex who is excited by the plan. Harry has shared his willingness to speak with his family, telling ITV, via the BBC, in 2023, “The door is always open. The ball is in their court.” He also met with his father in February during a surprise trip to the U.K. when Charles’ cancer was diagnosed. 

The Princess of Wales’ reported actions mirror what King Charles III’s former butler, Grant Harrold, told GB News ahead of the holiday.  “The thing about Christmas is that it’s all about goodwill to others, letting bygones be bygones, forgetting the past, moving into the New Year,” he said of the feud. He believed that “things are moving in the right direction” and that reconciliation was possible — at least between Charles and Harry. 

Kate has reportedly disagreed with how her husband, Prince William, has handled the feud over the last five years. He’s holding a grudge, but she wants the rift to be over for good. Royal experts are also calling on William to show some leadership and end the feud with his younger brother. “If William wants to be a future king, a great leader giving inspiring addresses about the environment to two billion people, then the public are within their rights to expect him to be able to sort out a frankly pretty minor dispute with his brother,” Duncan Larcombe told The Daily Beast in June 2022. 

With a new year on the horizon, Kate might be working her magic behind the scenes. Let’s hope all royal parties are open to the idea of a unified front for 2025.
