Golden Globes viewers expressed their worry over Kathy Bates' "frail and shaky" appearance.

The respected Hollywood actress was presenting the Best Supporting Actor and Actress of a Television Drama awards alongside Anthony Ramos, but her shaky voice and physical demeanour sparked immediate concern among fans. Concerned viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, with one writing, "Anyone else notice how shaky Kathy Bates was. I hope she's okay."

Another wrote: "Is Kathy Bates shaking? Hope she's ok health-wise," whilst a third penned: "What's going on with Kathy Bates is she ok." Another asked: "Is Kathy Bates ill?" as they shared their thoughts online.

During the event, host Nikki Glaser won over the audience with her snappy monologue peppered with "the bombs" and "soft roasts", a change from last year's host Jo Koy who landed in hot water for "misogynistic" jokes. Glaser didn't hold back, cheekily calling the star-studded gathering "Ozempic's biggest night," and delivered some sharp barbs at Hollywood's A-listers.

Nikki Glaser had the crowd roaring with laughter at her recent gig, as she playfully poked fun at celebs like Ben Affleck and Selena Gomez, and didn't shy away from a cheeky remark about Diddy's afterparty. She particularly shone when joking about Kathy Bates' younger partner with the tweet: "Kathy bates man is so young and fine oh Katy... the legend you are get some! ! Get it girl!"
