Katie Price fans were left concerned after she spent her Christmas Day separate from her MAFS star boyfriend JJ Slater.
However, the glamour model appears to still be going strong with her beau, despite rumours swirling that the couple had hit a rough patch after they were seen spending Christmas apart. While JJ was MIA on the big day, Katie and her son Harvey joined their good mate Kerry Katona, who's recently back on the singles market, for some festive cheer.
The heartwarming 'family Christmas pic' posted by Kerry on Instagram showed the close bond they share in challenging times. After calling it quits with Ryan Mahoney, Kerry welcomed Katie and Harvey into her Cheshire pad, as both celebs are starring in a panto up north.
The adorable photo captured Kerry's brood—Molly, Heidi, Max, Lilly-Sue, DJ—and Katie with Harvey, all beaming in snazzy red PJs. Kerry's heartfelt caption: "Merry Xmas from the Katona and price household," came with a wish for dreams to come true, a shoutout to @katieprice #merrychristmas, and a nod to her kids, complete with festive emojis.
Fans were quick to shower love on the post, with one gushing: "Two of my favourite celebs supporting each other, have the best Christmas all of you."
Another chimed in: "Cracking pic Merry Christmas to you all have the best day xx". But eagle-eyed followers couldn't help but notice that JJ Slater, Katie's other half, wasn't part of the Yuletide celebrations with his lady love, reports the Mirror.
JJ posted a festive snap on Instagram that featured him and his fam all dolled up in matching pyjamas. Despite whispers that Katie Price and her beau JJ might've called it quits, her reps confirmed to the Mirror that she's still firmly with the celeb hunk.
Earlier on, Katie spilt the tea about making the first move on JJ after learning he was dealing with type 1 diabetes. She slid into his DMs offering some friendly support following his public reveal of the condition, leading to a low-key coffee hangout, which bloomed into full-on love.
Chatting to Woman's Own, Katie dished out how it was never about chasing romance with JJ, but hearing about his diagnosis tugged at her heartstrings. Katie reveale: "I'd read in the paper that he'd got diabetes. I thought, 'Wow, that's quite harsh,' as diabetes is a life-changing thing to have. I messaged and said, 'I hope you're okay with your diabetes'. And he said, 'Oh, I'm really embarrassed.' I went 'Why?' Turns out he'd messaged me two years ago but I never saw it. It must have been deleted so it was obviously meant to be."
In the wake of her split from ex-beau Carl Wood, Katie felt "mentally exhausted" and needed a breather from the drama of relationships. Opting for a chilled approach, Katie and new flame JJ Chalmers have both given thumbs up to the 'slow and steady' vibe, even more so since JJ wasn't exactly eager for a new love after his own split from MAFS hottie Ella Morgan.
Katie's all loved-up over JJ, gushing about how he's "so calming and easy" and has shown her the ABCs of "what a healthy relationship is". Despite her history with three previous marriages, Katie's open to tying the knot again, yet she reveals that old-school romantic JJ "hasn't even put a ring on my finger yet".
