Kelsey Parker reveals her kids’ reaction when she introduced them to boyfriend Will after the death of their dad Tom

KELSEY Parker has revealed the sweet bond between her boyfriend Will and her kids, and how introducing them was an easy decision.

Influencer Kelsey Parker, who is mum to two kids Aurelia, 5, and Bodhi, 3, has opened up about how her kids felt meeting their mum's new boyfriend after their dad's death two years ago.

Kelsey announced her new relationship with tree surgeon Will in September, two years after The Wanted singer's death in March 2022 from an incurable brain tumour. He was just 33.

Now loved up again, Kelsey has discussed how it feels introducing kids to a new partner as she reveals she didn't consider it a 'deep' issue.

Speaking on her shared podcast Mum's The Word, Kelsey explained to pal Georgia Jones: "I found it really easy. I think Will, I talk about it all the time how laidback he is.

"So he didn't really think that deeply and neither did the kids."

When asked if she pre-warned her kids about her new partner, Kelsey continued: "For me to be honest, I just thought do you know what he might as well meet the kids.

"I did have a boyfriend before, it didn't work out. The kids have never actually brought up my past boyfriend."

"Kids are resilient, and it is what it is. If I'm with Will for the next ten years we could still split up, I could be with him for three months and split up. I don't think you can really think like that."

She added that she didn't make introducing Aurelia and Bodhi to Will a big thing, as she added: "Again there's no wrong or right time either.

"People from the outside go 'oh she did it too quick' but that's me, that's the kids and they absolutely love Will.

"He's just such a positive impact on them."

She then revealed football mad partner Will had cancelled going to see his beloved Arsenal team play to instead watch the kids perform at a gala.

She also revealed the moment that Will first met who two children, as she confessed: "Will came to Hamley's with me. We made that decision."

She also discussed how she feels about Christmas now Tom is no longer here to enjoy it with the family.

She explained: "I don't particularly like Christmas. I don't know what I don't like about it, I guess now it's missing Tom and him not seeing the kids.

"I suppose it is that build up, and you know we had the show, and he's not there."
