AFTER a turbulent few years following the illness and subsequent death of her husband, The Wanted star Tom Parker, Kelsy Parker has found love again.
The widow enjoyed her first family holiday with her new partner Will and now the 34-year-old has spoken of the bond will shares with her two children Aurelia, 5 and Bodhi, 3.
Speaking on her podcast Mums The Word, she said: “ He came to camping he’s used to us as a family now. He brings happiness into our house, a different sort of happiness that obviously when it was the three of us we were happy, but now he[s brining that something else in.”
And Kelsy’s podcast co-host Georgia Jones added that her new partner is bringin a male energy to the house that has been missing since Tom Parker sadly passed away in 2022. “He’s bringing a different energy, a male energy that kids do love. Kids love a bit of male energy.”
The mother-of-two announced her new relationship with Will, a tree surgeon in September, two years after The Wanted singer’s death in March 22 from an incurable brain tumour, aged just 33.
But Kelsy also revealed that since finding happiness in her new relationship, she has been the victim of judgmental trolls.
She said: “ I am the voice now of widows, but it’s the judgement for me because I am a woman, that what p*** me off the most.
A man wouldn’t get it, it would be like, ‘Oh he needs his food on the table, h needs to be looked after by a woman, he also might need s**. But when it comes to a woman, its like, “What she wants, s**. But its having someone to offload with at night, “Why would people want me to be on my own?”
Indeed, Kelsey previously told The Sun that she met Will through friends on a night out.
She said: "I just met him authentically when I was out, which is what I always wanted to do.
"I was just out with my friends, and we met, and it’s really nice. I’m so happy."
When asked who made the first move, she added: "I think it was a mutual feeling between us.
"Obviously I wasn’t expecting to find anyone, and he’s literally just swept me off my feet."
Kelsey also believes that Tom sent him to her.
"I definitely think he’s very special and I do feel like Tom had a little sprinkle of magic in me meeting him," she confessed.
Tom was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2020 (a noperable stage 4 glioblastoma) and given just 18 months to live.
