Kenya Moore called out the producers of Real Housewives of Atlanta for not making her feel ‘protected.’ This drove Brooklyn’s mom to “protect” herself by showing an explicit photo of Brit Eady during filming.

The RHOA star got down to business on the Tamron Hall Show. Tamron mentioned Kenya’s hair salon. “No one is talking about your business …”

Kenya interjected, “They overshadowed it.”

Tamron earned her paycheck with her response. “You overshadowed it.”

Kenya told her side of the story …

Kenya felt threatened:

“There were threats in my direction,” explained Kenya. “I felt very concerned.”

“I told the producers, ‘I’m concerned … I’m scared.’ They said, ‘We’ll take care of it’ … It didn’t feel like it was being taken care of. They actually made me feel like I was being a black Karen. Like, ‘Here Kenya goes again. Nothing really happened.'”

“You can’t invalidate my feelings. It was a real concern for me. I’m a single mom with a beautiful child. If something happened to me, no one would be there for her.”

Why did Kenya feel “threatened?”

Tamron Hall wanted clarity on how Kenya feeling threatened. The former Miss USA responded, “She [Brit Eady] repeatedly said, ‘You don’t know who I am.'” (During another part of the interview Kenya claimed Brit was acting physically aggressively toward her.)

“I didn’t feel like I was being protected and I took matters into my own hands.” Kenya continued, I did my research on her … I found a lot of information – especially in the explicit world – with a few clicks, with people helping me.”

“I said, ‘Ok. If no one else is going to step up for me and protect me, I’m going to protect myself. I’m going to tell everyone what I found out about her.'”

The her-story of the ‘receipt:’

“It’s a receipt. I found a valid receipt found on the internet.”

Tamron wondered, ‘You knew Bravo was recording your salon [event?!]”

“Yes,” answered Kenya. “It was during a taping. Everyone signed waivers. I didn’t stand out on a corner posting anything.”

“Even with nudity that has happened on a show, they blur things out.” Kenya reasoned, “So, at the end of the day, I knew they would likely blur it out.”

“They [Bravo TV execs] didn’t like the receipt. It was explicit, and they didn’t like it. I found a lot” of photos, “but I only showed one,” chuckled Brooklyn’s mom.

Kenya admitted she pulled the images out during the night of her haircare event. “They were shown.” The host asked, “You assumed they would be blurred out when this aired?!”

Her response? “Of course they would! They can’t show nudity.”
