Writing in her weekly column for OK! Magazine, Kerry said: "I've had a very challenging week visiting my mum in hospital every day. She's suffering from blood clots and other health issues and I've cancelled all of my work to focus on looking after her. It’s been an emotional week."

"I’d usually do something with the kids for Bonfire Night, but it really depends on how my mum is doing. I don’t want to make any plans as my routine is all so dependent on her. Please send all your prayers to us."

Kerry has given her followers an insight into her mum Sue's condition over the last few weeks since she's been in hospital, with her sharing a video of Sue explaining some of her issues.

"Well, after everything they told me and me being really really poorly, I died nearly, twice, I have broke me back. And I don't know how, but apparently it was years ago," said Sue in a video posted by Kerry over the weekend.

Kerry added: "It wasn't years ago but she has broken her back.

"She's on a long, long way to go which frustrates me because how long have I asked you to come to hospital."

In her column, Kerry also spoke about the breakdowns of friendships and how difficult they can be.

"I lost a lot of friends when I started becoming famous, which is hard. I remember being particularly hurt by losing one close friend who I had known since I was a baby," she said. "When I started to get famous she stuck by me but then we drifted apart, because her boyfriend was worried I’d lead her to other guys - which I wouldn’t have, I just fall in love with one and marry them! Losing friends can be so difficult - it does really hurt."
