Kerry Katona has been left “angry” after Michelin-star chef Jameson Stocks spoke out last week alleging he had a two-month romance with her. In a bombshell interview Jameson, 41, told a newspaper he was dumped by Kerry in January after they had spoken about love, marriage and taking their relationship further.
“One day she told me she loves me and wants to marry me and she’s telling my children she loves them,” he claimed. “She was at my son’s birthday party on 25 January. All of a sudden, she dumped me and said bye and that’s wrong.” But now, a source tells new that the former Atomic Kitten star, 44, simply had a secret fling with the chef. “Kerry is not into Jameson whatsoever,” a source has claimed to OK!.

Since November, Kerry – who has been married three times before and is mum to Molly, Lilly-Sue, Heidi, Max and DJ – has been mending a broken heart. She split from fitness trainer Ryan, who proposed in 2020, last November after six years together. At the time, she admitted to feeling heartbroken as she struggled to move on from the relationship, which she said broke down following a breach of trust.
Sharing the news of her break-up in her OK! column, Kerry said at the time, “We are no longer together and It’s been a really tough week – I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.
“I don’t know if we’ll be able to work it out or not, but I do still love him so much. I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it’s so much to deal with, I am really struggling. But I know I can get through it no matter what happens. I’ve been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens.”

Instagram/@kerrykatona7)Later detailing the struggle of moving on from Ryan, who she described as “like a dad” to her youngest daughter DJ, whose father George Kay passed away in 2019, Kerry said in December, “I’m still feeling very heartbroken over my split from Ryan. I’m struggling to move on.
"It’s going to be so strange waking up on Christmas morning without him. I’m so used to having him there that it will be really weird. I’m not feeling very excited – it’s my first Christmas as a single mum again. I thought I’d be with Ryan forever, so I didn’t expect to spend Christmas alone.”
But now, father-of-two Jameson is claiming that just weeks following the split, he and Kerry were even talking about marriage plans after she had declared her love for him during their short-lived romance.
Detailing how they split on the day of mutual pal The Vivienne ’s funeral, Jameson said, “A story broke about our romance and Kerry said she could no longer go to James’s funeral because there would be paps.”
Our source says, “She realised that Jameson wasn’t right for her. Kerry says she is feeling much happier alone – she wasn’t interested in pursuing something serious.”
Jameson was previously in a whirlwind relationship with former model and Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife, Jo Wood, 69. Their romance is thought to have ended in 2023.

The exclusive app, which has been used by stars such as Lily Allen and Channing Tatum, requires identity verification and other users to refer you before you can make an account. Kerry said in her OK! column two weeks ago, “I have actually been trying to get on the Raya app to dip my toe in the dating pond, but I’m not on it yet. I don’t think I’d like to do the other apps again.”
Not only has Kerry been thinking about dating again, but she has also been feeling more confident than ever after losing 2st and slimming down to a size 6. And the source says that despite Jameson’s claims leaving a sour taste in her mouth, they aren’t getting the mum-of-five down.
“Kerry’s in a great place, she’s enjoying herself and is enjoying her new look since losing weight,” they say. “Kerry’s annoyed that Jameson has gone to the press with this story. But everything is going well for her and she’s feeling really good.”
