Khloé Kardashian calls out the Associated Press for their interview snub at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.
The Associated Press is facing (warranted) online backlash following a pre-show red carpet snub.
ICYMI:
While interviewing Babyface, Associated Press correspondents — Leslie Ambriz and Krysta Fauria — abruptly ended their conversation with the legend when Chappell Roan came onto the scene.
Noticing their divided attention, Babyface replied, “go do that” prior to walking off camera.
The AP issued an apology via X, saying:
“We are deeply sorry for cutting our interview with Babyface short on our YouTube livestream of the Grammys red carpet. We have apologized to him through his representative and to our viewers on the livestream.”
However, this didn’t stop social media for calling out the blatant disrespect over the viral moment.
Khloé Kardashian took to her X account and slammed the reporters.
Khloé enters the chat
“This is so disrespectful how Babyface was treated in this interview. Babyface has had such a significant impact on the music industry, in sooo many ways. It’s maddening to see a LEGEND not get the respect and attention they deserve,” the youngest Kardashian sister begins her rant.
“With decades of groundbreaking work as a songwriter, producer, and performer, he’s shaped the sound of multiple generations. I love you @babyface And I am a forever fan and thankful for all that you have blessed us with By the way- what a class act you are.”
“PS big or small, old or new, – you don’t treat people like this. At least not in my eyes. There’s a way to handle this and this was wrong in my opinion.”
From the video, it appears that one of the interviewers looked more embarrassed than the other. Either way, this is a masterclass on what NOT to do amongst legendary talent.
