Kim Kardashian has been mistaken for Beyoncé in a new SKKN promo. She debuted golden honey locks in a glowing ad for her new silk matte lip colors, but fans done a double-take at her resemblance.
It’s not the first time Kim Kardashian has been compared to Beyoncé. And it’s kind of awkward to say they look alike because the two were friends for years until Kim’s ex, Kanye West, blasted the singer and Jay Z.
Kim Kardashian mistaken for Beyonce
Kim Kardashian has been mistaken for Beyoncé, as she donned honey straight locks and glowing skin, much like the singer herself. However, she was innocently promoting her new silk matte lip colors.
Fans immediately flooded to the photo’s comments, having thought she was Beyoncé. One commenter said, “Beyoncé is that you? 👀,” while another simply said, “Thought it was Beyoncé.”
As Kardashian posted the photo one day before Halloween, some even thought it was her costume. Don’t worry though, Kimyonce appears to be wearing a wig for a serious business photoshoot only.

Golden hair previously caused frenzy
This isn’t the first time Kim has appeared as the spitting image of Beyoncé. It was only in November 2023 that she debuted the same golden honey locks and glowing skin when the same thing happened.
The theory continued into February 2024, as she donned a hat similar to the one the singer wears. Fans went as far as to say she has a “Beyoncé obsession” at the time.
Her former cowgirl look comes just after Beyoncé released new music during the Super Bowl. The videos for her new songs, 16 CARRIAGES, and TEXAS HOLD ‘EM, see her wearing cowboy hats.
Kim and Beyonce were good friends
Kim and Beyoncé remained good friends, even when Kardashian had just become a mom to her eldest, North West. They often hung out with their partners, Jay Z and Kim’s then-husband, Kanye.
Ye called them out at his Sacramento concert in 2016, which left Kardashian and Beyonce’s relationships strained as a result. “Jay Z, call me, bruh,” Ye said. “Please call me. Talk to me like a man.”
“Beyoncé, I was hurt,” Ye said, according to videos posted online. “I went down seven years on behalf of you… I am putting my career, my life, my public standing at risk when I talk to y’all like this.”
“This is a moment in the matrix. Beyoncé, I was hurt, I hear you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and Hotline Bling. Now don’t go dissing Beyoncé, she’s great,” Ye added.
