Kim Kardashian Is Allegedly ‘On a Mission’ to ‘Collect’ Everything That Has to Do With This Royal

Decades after her death, people are still obsessed with Princess Diana, including Kim Kardashian. That’s right, it seems the reality TV superstar has been obsessed with Diana for years, but insiders now claim it’s gotten even more intense as of late.

Insiders recently told InTouch Weekly that Kardashian has grown quite obsessed with Diana, and is allegedly trying to get everything she can that was once Diana’s in auction.

“Kim’s fascination with the royal family has taken on a life of its own, it’s more than just casual interest. She’s totally obsessed with them, especially with Princess Diana,” the insider said to the outlet. “Kim’s been reading about Diana since she was a teenager, studying her life and legacy like it’s her own personal history book. She’s on a mission now to collect anything of Diana’s that comes up for auction.”

Now this isn’t a total surprise because on Nov 2, Kardashian arrived at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art for its 13th annual gala, donning the Attallah Cross, which Diana wore back in 1987 at Birthright’s London charity gala. Kardashian purchased the purple cross necklace back in 2023 at Sotheby’s annual Royal & Noble auction for nearly $200,000.

Diana’s jewelry and gowns are rarely up for auction. However, there was a huge auction in June 2024 through Julien’s Auctions, with pieces from Diana’s closet and royal memorabilia being up for sale.

It’s unclear if Kardashian purchased anything, but through the website, we can see that the top seller was the 1987 Victor Edelstein Magenta Silk and Lace Evening Dress, which sold for $910,000.
