Not long after the Kardashian family was forced to evacuate from their Hidden Hills home amid the Los Angeles wildfires, three of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's children were photographed with their father in Tokyo on Tuesday, January 14.
The Daily Mail, the outlet that originally obtained the photos, report that it has been 118 days since the controversial rapper was last seen with his children during a concert in China in September 2024. Kardashian and West, who got married in 2014 and divorced in 2022, do not appear to be on good terms. The Skims founder, 42, even said in November 2024 that she feels as if she is raising four kids "by [her]self."
Saint, 9, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, were seen with their dad in a 7/11 convenience store in the Ginza district of Japan. West has been traveling with his wife, Bianca Censori, for the last six months, but she was not present on this outing, during which the Yeezy founder and his kids picked up snacks. Also missing from the family errand was eldest daughter North, 11.
In the photos obtained by the Mail, Chicago was sporting a white Yeezy sweatshirt and black pants, while Kanye and Saint both wore all-black outfits, while Psalm wore a grey hoodie and red pants.
A bystander told the outlet that "a black van pulled out the front" of the convenience store, seemingly signaling West's arrival with his children.
"All of a sudden the kids have gone running in and Kanye followed behind, trying to hide in the 7-Eleven with his hood up,' said the witness, who also said the Kardashian-West kids "were buying up the store - they had two carrier bags full of random lollipops and snacks."
It is not yet clear how long the children will be with their dad, but their hometown of Los Angeles is in the middle of a turbulent time, between the dangerous wildfires and the backlash that their mom, Kim, and aunt, Khloé Kardashian, 40, have faced for their responses to the fires.
