Even the goofy birthday gifts operate on an entirely different level in the KarJenner world.
On Tuesday, we were floored to see that 11-year-old North West had gifted her world-famous momma Kim Kardashian a “Skibidi Toilet” necklace. The incredibly bizarre piece of jewelry was engraved with the strange and iconic name of THAT viral computer web graphic series that has made the rounds on YouTube for a while now. And even though Kim didn’t totally understand why her daughter would choose to make the momma’s 44th birthday a Skibidi one, we now know that North at least didn’t spare any expense on the gift. Goofy or not, this gift was COSTLY!!!

According to jewelry expert Olivia Landau, who is the CEO of the designer brand The Clear Cut, the cost of the engraved necklace is likely truly astonishing. Speaking to People about the strange gift, Landau acknowledged that the custom piece was “obscure” in its engraving and design alike. Furthermore, she estimated that EACH diamond on the birthday necklace was anywhere from .08 to .10 carats. And that adds up to a lot of money!!
Basically, based on Landau’s best guess, her expert opinion landed on a stunning cost of up to $20,000 for the piece.

The diamonds alone aren’t what is making the necklace so costly, though. In addition to that, the “Skibidi Toilet” name plate which is so strangely and memorably engraved in the least subtle of ways is likely solid and pricy! Hence, per Landau, the whole thing likely runs as high as a cool $20k in costs:
“It also appears to be a solid plate engraved ‘Skibidi Toilet.’ The estimated value of this necklace could be around $15-20k.”
That’s quite a bill for an 11-year-old to come up with when it comes to getting her momma a birthday gift! Whatever happened to, ya know, breakfast in bed and a hand-drawn picture or something?! LOLz!!
The necklace is also appropriately timely and trendy, too. (But really, would you ever expect anything less from a descendant of the KarJenner clan??) According to Landau, the Skibidi Toilet piece combines two key jewelry trends right now: tennis necklaces and customizable name plates. She explained to the mag:
“People love being able to create added sentiment with their jewelry pieces, especially when gifting.”
And so, North is on the cutting edge of the jewelry biz, and Kim is the (confused) owner of a VERY trendy piece of Skibidi Toilet merch. Reactions?! Thoughts?! Takes?? Share ’em (below)…
