Kimberly Williams-Paisley & Brad Paisley Heartbroken Over Wildfire Loss

Hallmark star Kimberly Williams-Paisley and her husband, country crooner Brad Paisley, revealed a heartbreaking connection to the latest round of California wildfires.

Luckily, the couple did not sustain any property losses themselves. However, a home they used to own that held a great deal of sentimental value to them is gone.

On January 8, Brad Paisley shared the devastating news via his Instagram page. The photo he included in the post showed a firefighter pulling a hose in front of a burning home.

“We lived in Pacific Palisades for years. It was the first house Kim and I bought together,” he wrote. “Memories were made with some of our dearest friends- the first nursery we had to prep, the birthing classes with @kevinnealon and @sukiyeagley. Walking to the local restaurants, the Gelson’s, and the Starbucks,” Paisley continued.

Sadly, he revealed, “That beautiful old house burned last night. As did most of that community. So many good people displaced, devastated and cast out all over L.A.”

He noted that he would like to provide awareness or resources where people can donate to help, but “I don’t know where to begin.” Paisley also wrote, “It all feels so much bigger than that.”

“Mostly right now I just want to mourn the loss of a town. And acknowledge the beauty and the memories of what it was. It is all so tragic and sad,” Paisley added.

Williams-Paisley commented, “Beautiful post, thank you. I don’t have the words right now.” She touched on the losses in the area via her Instagram Stories. Williams-Paisley reposted a video from Susan Yeagley, Kevin Nealon’s wife. The home they owned in Pacific Palisades from 2010 to 2019 was lost in the fire.

In resharing the post, Williams-Paisley wrote, “Love you all so much. This house was magical. It held us well.” In a separate Instagram Story, she shared a quote from another Instagram creator that read, “In moments like this, do for one person what you wish you could do for everyone.”

Fans Are Sharing Their Own Stories & Prayers

The couple received over 1,600 comments on Paisley’s post, many of them just notes from fans sending prayers and support.

Yeagley commented, “I can’t stop crying.”

“Brad I’m so sorry… This is one of the worst fires I think I’ve seen in cali to be honest. So many memories- burned to ashes,” a follower wrote.

“I remember Kim’s baby shower in that house,” read another comment.

“I am so sorry Brad for you and Kimberly and your family and all your friends whose homes near yours were lost 💔 I am continuing to send prayers for all the families and all their pets and animals in the path of this horrendous fire, 😞” someone else shared.
