Kodak Black has caused great concern after the rapper appeared to take an unknown substance while on Kai Cenat‘s stream. During Kai’s current “Mafiathon” nonstop 30-day livestream, Kodak appeared and kicked it with the popular streamer for the event. However, things took a turn as Black’s behavior became increasingly erratic, at times leaving Kai at a loss for words.

One moment in particular found Kai engaging with his chat as he and the Florida rapper listened to La Roux’s “Bulletproof.” Kodak suddenly leaps from his chair, shows a white substance to the camera, and then throws it in the air before catching it in his mouth and falling to the floor.

Before this, Kodak appeared to be incoherently stumbling over his words during Kai’s freestyle session. The “Super Gremlin” rapper rambled off a litany of meme references as he attempted to rap but ultimately tapped out and left Cenat looking puzzled, yet again. Kodak Black then takes off his shirt and rambles on again about not “catching HIV,” seemingly in relation to another meme, before asserting that “I don’t want to die.”

Elsewhere in the stream, Kodak attempts to have a normal conversation with the Twitch streamer before totally bugging out, protruding his eyes with a face full of sweat. Fans of both entertainers took to social media to voice their concern for the rapper, asserting that he needs help and that “he’s tweaking.” Other fans called out the disregard that society has when dealing with Black stars in distress versus public reaction to white stars.

“If Kodak Black was Justin Bieber and he was on Kai Cenat acting like that, the entire world would be in crisis mode and it would be international news,” one account typed. “He would be in a f**king treatment center right now.” “This is actually hella sad, that man needs rehab,” another person responded. “I can’t believe he was popping the percs right there on the stream. Get him help pls and quickly.”

Kodak previously addressed his relationship with drugs and opioids over the past couple of months, swearing them off for good. In July, the rapper insisted that his journey to sobriety was so serious that he was going to stop performing “Super Gremlin.” In his Instagram announcement, he even admitted that he was “scared to be sober” but realized it was what was best for him.

“I’m about to stop performing ‘Super Gremlin,’ period,” he said during a live stream. “I hate that lil’ sh*t. I’m sober for the most part and I say this, like, around my people them so they know… that [it’s] serious. I could talk about it now. You feel me? For the most part bro I be sober, brother.”

“Like Batman, I couldn’t have waited ’til, like, Saturday [to take drugs],” he added. “Now, I can wait a few days… I’m proud of myself. I ain’t saying I couldn’t have; it was just like a ni**a was scared to be sober.” He then encouraged other substance abusers to quit, saying, “That’s motivation for ni**as to feel like if the Gremlin could do it, y’all could do it.”
