Kodak Black Defends Erratic Behavior, Taking Percocet While Streaming: 'I Don't Give a F*ck'

Kodak Black is still contending he did nothing wrong on Kai Cenat’s stream.

The “Tunnel Vision” rapper took to social media to double down on his defense after fans expressed concern over his odd behavior on Cenat’s Twitch channel.

“‘You have to understand kids are watching you, li'l bro.’ I used to give a fuck, right? Well I don’t give a fuck. You know why, homie? ‘Cause TikTok got the most … negative shit ever,” Yak said in the new clip, appearing to address someone off-camera.

He continued, “The point, bitch, I gotta go on my kids’ phone. … All type of gay ass shit. … Bitch, I ain’t doing nothing worse than what they got on TikTok. … Bitch, Kodak Black ain’t no worse. I ain’t doing shit.”

Kodak appeared to be erratic and incoherent on Kai’s Twitch on Monday. Fans grew more worried after one video from the stream showed Black tossing what some speculated was a small pill into the air and catching it with his mouth. His behavior grew more strange from there, with him slurring his words and eventually taking off his shirt.

Kodak subsequently issued a response on Instagram Live, confirming he had taken a Percocet.

“Y'all be on all type of shit. Y'all be on shrooms, acid, all types of stupid ass shit, you know?” he said. “But I take me one perc and y'all be so fucking butt hurt. Y’all don't wanna like a n***a anyway.

“If a motherfucker needed help, y'all wouldn’t think I knew that?" he continued. "I don't need you to tell me. What telling me doing for you? Ain't nobody in this world perfect. Everybody got some kind of vice, even if it ain't drugs."

Yak has been transparent about his substance abuse issues. In July, he said he was going to shelve his song “Super Gremlin” and no longer perform it during his sets. He decided this during his sobriety journey because the hit song has a line about Percocets.

“I’m about to stop performing ‘Super Gremlin,’ period,” he said on Instagram. “I hate that li'l shit. I’m sober for the most part ... I could talk about it now. You feel me? For the most part bro, I be sober, brother.”
