Kyle Richards on Her Biggest RHOBH Breakdown

2 weeks ago 5

Things have been quite difficult for Kyle Richards coming into the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In fact, the OG housewife shared that the latest season of RHOBH may see her biggest breakdown yet.

And is that really surprising? It’s been a rough couple of years for Kyle. Many of the ongoing feuds she is navigating in Season 14 have built up over the years and didn’t just happen overnight. Is it shocking she would reach her boiling point?

Kyle Richards: “It took me 14 years to reach my breaking point”

This isn’t to say that Kyle has had her share of exciting moments during RHOBH. Who can forget her famously asking a party guest if wanted “a Manolo in her eyeball” when said guest tried to touch Mauricio Umansky?

There have been friendship minefields with Kyle and Lisa Vanderpump. Also, that time Kyle ran out when Lisa Rinna and Kim Richards got into a screaming match in Amsterdam.

However, the years before Season 14 were exceptionally tough for Kyle. In 2022 she lost her best friend to suicide and in 2023 she split from her husband Mo (yes, the one she defended with a Manolo). All that, coupled with ongoing feuds with Dorit Kemsley and Sutton Stracke and it’s no wonder Kyle had a meltdown.

“We all have our moments,” Kyle said to InTouch. “I’m surprised it’s taken me 14 years to get to my breaking point. It’s been an exciting season and you’ll see some friendships change some new ones form. There are some twists and turns — for myself included.”

When asked about who brings the most drama on the show, Kyle said, “That’s a tough question. You’ll definitely see me probably have my biggest breakdown in 14 years. I just didn’t feel strong enough to handle what was being thrown at me.”

However, while she was breaking down, Kyle was also pulling herself together. She is navigating a separation, working on maybe repairing some friendships, and dealing with her daughter and Mo moving out. But she’s doing her best to handle it.

“I’ve learned a lot about myself. I’m strong and resilient. I’m enjoying the growth and I know I can take on anything that comes,” Kyle concluded. Looks like sometimes breakdowns can lead to breakthroughs.
