Kyle Walker's wife, Annie Kilner has come to a decision over their divorce.

Last year, Annie is said to have met with lawyers to nail through the details of their marriage and any possible outcome on finances and split custody should they go ahead and officially split. It was said in October that Annie was allegedly fighting to get half of Kyle's eye-watering £27 million fortune.

At the time, Annie and Kyle were said to not be on speaking terms, with the footballer having also instructed his own legal aids to resolve the matters. But that has now been put to a halt due to a deal which Walker is said to be eying up. The Sheffield-born defender, 34, is rumoured to be weighing up the possibility of signing for a deal and moving to Saudi Arabia.

In light of the discussions, Annie, 33, is pausing their divorce proceedings. Friends of the former model claim that the "life-changing" deal in terms of signing a contract for a huge sum of money have not been the reasoning behind Annie's decision.

Walker is a name that Al Nassr, are keen to have on the team alongside their captain, Cristiano Ronaldo. Deals for the Saudi clubs could see Kyle profit a hefty £400,000 per week if he was to try his hand at moving abroad. "Annie is no fool. She sought legal advice about the finances last year and knows that the deal in Saudi is worth a lot," a source told The Sun.

They added that for Annie, the main priority is keeping their family of six together. Over the Christmas period, they put on a united front with both Kyle and Annie proudly posing alongside their four children, Roman, 12, Riaan, eight, Reign, six and Rezon, five months as they enjoyed the holidays together. The source went on to tell the publication that "savvy" Annie had been secretly weighing up her options for some time.

"Annie always puts the children first but she has to think about herself too — and financially she wants to know she would be secure whatever happens between them," they added before explaining that Kyle had guaranteed no matter what happens to their marriage, Annie wouldn't have to worry about financial support.

Over Christmas, they decided to put Kyle's infidelity to the back of their minds, one year on after Lauryn Goodman revealed to Annie on December 27 that he was the father of her daughter, Kinara. Goodman, who recently appeared on Celebs Go Dating told Annie that she wanted to have the "decency" to speak to her personally, explaining that she was open to conversation as Kyle had been lying to them both.

Annie and Kyle attempted to give their marriage another go following a brief separation when the defender moved out of their Prestbury home. He later acknowledged his wrongdoing, stating he made a "horrible" mistake before adding: "I take full responsibility." However, she consulted divorce lawyers in October.

At the time, insiders said that while Annie married Kyle for love, she also had to do it to "secure a financial windfall for herself and their children." Sources have previously told the Mirror that Annie was seeking advice from fellow WAGs on the Cheshire scene following the drama she has endured while dating and being married to Kyle.

But just months before, the Mirror revealed that they were looking forward to the future and were planning to put Kyle's cheating behind them. Speaking previously to the Mirror, a source said: "Annie and Kyle are looking forward to a resolution of the whole situation and hope that this latest chapter brings them just that."

The Mirror has approached representatives for both Annie and Kyle.
