THEY’VE secured more Christmas number ones than The Beatles and boast 2.9millon followers between them.

But it hasn’t been all plain-sailing for Ladbaby and LadyBaby Mum - Mark Doyle and wife Roxanne - who have spoken out about the 'cheating' and 'groping' claims that rocked their marriage and the internet trolling that followed.

The name LadBaby first hit the internet back in 2016 when Mark created a social media blog named "LadBaby" to reflect the fact he was a lad who was becoming a dad.

While his wife – Roxanne aka LadyBaby Mum -  was pregnant with their first child, Mark began to document his day-to-day life as a first-time parent - sharing practical parenting tips to save parents both time and money.

However, after they shot to fame with popular YouTube videos and did numerous Christmas number ones, they were rocked by a video that emerged online where he was seemingly 'groping' another woman.

In the 18-second clip, ‘Mark’ appeared to ‘touch a woman’s bottom on a night out’ and then wrapped his arms around the woman, who did not appear to be his wife Roxanne.

The couple did not comment at the time, but have spoken about the incident in their new book, Our LadBaby Journey: Success, Sacrifice and Sausage Rolls, which is out today.

Mark writes: The messages had started in early 2022 via DM with an anonymous account saying they wanted five grand or else they were going to leak this video.

“We were used to the crank messages, especially since the Ed and Elton number one, and so we just ignored it.

“Then the DMs moved to emails demanding ten grand and those messages now included the video clip, which we were seeing for the first time.”

They reported the incident to the police at the time but say the accounts that messaged them vanished leaving them with no proof - but the clip was later shared on TikTok.

The abuse became so severe that Mark admitted he started to suffer from panic attacks.

The police took the case seriously and anti-terror officers were assigned to advise the couple at their home.

Mark said: 'I don't think people realise the impact of that level of trolling, where the police came to support us through that time.'

Roxanne also insists in the book that the man in the clip is not her husband.

LadBaby Mum breaks down in tears as she reveals details about latest project and admits it’s been an ‘emotional rollercoaster’

She shares: “I knew it wasn’t Mark in the film. He knew it wasn’t him.

“The first thing he said was, ‘That’s not f***ing me’, and he was incredibly disturbed by it.

“Trust is something we really pride ourselves on in our relationship and Mark doesn’t lie. It was all so weird.”

The couple claim that the video is “fake” and “possibly made with AI.”

Roxanne adds: At no point would or could Mark have been in that situation.

“We don’t go out without each other or alone these days so it wasn’t a circumstance that could have happened. I knew this wasn’t real — there were too many things that didn’t add up.”

The mum of two says it was hard to see Mark go through the scrutiny of the incident and insists “we’re solid in our marriage.”

However, she also opened up about the trolling she received as a result of the clip.

She says: “I’d get a lot of abuse too from people saying, ‘No wonder he’s doing that, you’re too fat.’”

They admitted they had considered putting out a statement at the time but didn’t want to draw more attention to it.

Why do so many mums love LadBaby's Rox?

THE news that LadBaby - Mark and Roxanne Hoyle - are releasing an autobiography signifies a major career milestone for the pair.

And while they initially found success as a couple, thanks to their harebrained ideas and hilarious pranks on each other, Rox has made a name for herself on her own - and has an incredible 1.3 million followers on her Instagram page.

But what is it that has made Rox so popular with her millions of fans?

I think it's a combination of her down to earth attitude, her bubbly sense of humour and her expert hacks.

As a mum-of-two myself, I'm always looking for ways to cut costs and keep the kids entertained, and rarely does a week go by that Rox doesn't share a hack to help.

When she shares her hair and beauty tips on her social media, she can guarantee that fans are going to hit the shops in search of the products themselves.

In fact, when she shared a Primark ice face roller recently, I was one of the first to go and grab one, and it's been a total game changer for my puffy morning skin.

She's also managed to stay humble despite her and her husband's rise to fame - a prospect that is much harder than it sounds.

And when it comes to the red carpet events she's lucky enough to attend, Rox will usually go for a budget high street look rather than a fancy designer number.

The Ladbaby couple shared how trolling and abuse had made them “question everything we were doing.”

Roxanne shared how cruel trolls have even “talked about the children and the way they looked.”

She adds: “It was such a stark thing to realise there were people out there who really hated us.”

LadBaby is said to be worth £1.3 million, thanks to their very successful YouTube channel and business ventures.

They are the first musical act in British history to secure five Christmas No. 1 hits, surpassing the record set by the Beatles.

Their novelty songs include "We Built This City", "I Love Sausage Rolls", "Don't Stop Me Eatin'", "Sausage Rolls for Everyone" and "Food Aid".

Roxanne also landed a big money deal with In The Style for her very own fashion range.

They have also brought out numerous books themed on Greg the Sausage Roll and undertaken various other paid promotions across their platforms.

Speaking about making money, Roxanne previously told The Sun: “This year we bought our lovely home in Nottingham so that our kids would always have a roof over their heads, but we’re still the same people we were in that tiny one-bedroom flat - I haven’t made a single extravagant purchase since Ladbaby took off, because I’m aware that this could so quickly come to an end.

“I still love a visit to Poundland, I don’t wear designer clothes and you’ll often catch me browsing the shelves of Home Bargains

“And forget about fancy cars - we both drive standard runarounds. I never take what we have for granted.”
