Lady Louise Windsor has inherited her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II hard working spirit and is set to make a name for herself within the Royal Family. The youngster is set to celebrate her 21st birthday (November 8) this weekend with those closest to her.

Lady Louise Windsor has already carved out a strong name herself within the Royal Family despite only making a few public appearances over the years. The youngster who turned 21 today (November 8) has quickly gained the affection of fans from around the globe following in the footsteps of her mother.
She is the eldest child and only daughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. Louise only has one sibling, younger brother James, Earl of Wessex.
Louise is styled as "Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor" but does not carry an HRH or Princess title. Although technically she is entitled to the Princess title due to being the grandchild of late Queen Elizabeth II.
Following in her elder cousin's footsteps, Prince William, she is currently studying English at the University of St Andrews, which is where he studied. At birth, Louise automatically became a princess of the United Kingdom due to letters patent issued in 1917.
This assigned princely status and the style of Royal Highness to all children of a monarch's sons, but the Queen decided to name her grandchildren as the children of an earl, rather than as prince or princess. Lady Louise Windsor enjoyed a fairly private life when she was a child and was only expected to make a public appearance on large public engagements. She was stood alongside her parents and Prince Harry as they greeted royal fans on the balcony.

Louise was a bridesmaid at the wedding of Prince William and Princess Kate. At the time, she was seven years old and carried out her duties under the spotlight of the world. It has since been reported that she has struck up a close relationship with Kate, 43, over the years after attending the same university.

Donning her best regal look the then 10-year-old sweetly stood alongside her parents and interacted with the public. The family had attended a Church service with other senior royals including Queen Elizabeth II.
