The advantage of the bending wand is that you can get under tables or furniture without having to get down on the floor – you can just press the button on the wand, allowing it to bend to get into those hard-to-reach places.

Flexology has another advantage, which is that you can basically fold it in half to store it. That’s something that shoppers have highlighted when reviewing this flexible cleaner: “The greatest asset is the way it folds down for storage and takes up minimal space,” said one owner, while another commented “Folds to take up much less space than my previous hoover.”
There is a downside to wand vacuums, however, and that’s the weight. With the battery and the motor in the unit at the top, it does mean it’s a little more top heavy than a conventional cleaner that rests on the floor. “Whilst I have no problems using it, my wife finds it a bit top-heavy as the battery is at the top end of the stick,” said one buyer.
