On January 20, Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent took to her Instagram Stories to confess her misguided attempt at hairstyling. She shared a photo of her three-year-old daughter Ocean showing off her new bangs.
“Guys … I think I f*cked up,” she captioned her post, comparing Ocean’s new haircut to Jim Carrey’s in Dumb and Dumber.

You should see the photos of me when I was little. My mom made me look like Mamie Eisenhower (Google her). Now those are blackmail material.
In addition to Ocean, whom she shares with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett, Lala has four-month-old Sosa, who was conceived via sperm donor. Following the trauma of the separation and ensuing custody battle with her ex, Lala wanted to avoid any more daddy drama.
Should she decide to make any future additions to her family, Lala plans to use the same process. She doesn’t want to have to “share” them with anyone, as she’s had to share Ocean with Rand.
“I had 17 vials of the donor’s goods, and I got pregnant off of one,” she told Andy Cohen in November 2024 on Watch What Happens Live. “So I’ve still got 16 more, baby.”
In the same interview, she told Andy that she and her ex were in a better place for the first time in the four years since they split.
“We have come to a place where … we have one thing in common,” she said. “And that is this child and what’s best for her.”
Although things aren’t “always golden” between the exes, Lala admitted that they’d had some “productive conversations.”
“I’m, like, a really fun ride,” she added. “I’ll take you on a roller coaster. One day we’re good, and the next day, he pisses me off.”
