This article briefly mentions alcohol and substance abuse.
For some quick context, Khloé and Lamar got married back in 2009 after less than a month of dating. Their relationship was repeatedly dogged by rumors of Lamar’s infidelity and speculation around his abuse of drugs and alcohol.
Khloé ended up filing for divorce from the retired basketball player in 2013, though it wasn’t finalized until three years later; Khloé momentarily paused the proceedings after Lamar almost died from a drug overdose.
But over the years, Lamar has continued to discuss Khloé in the public eye. Back in 2022, for example, he admitted during an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother that he’d dreamt about the reality star and missed her “so much.”
Well, this month, Lamar was widely criticized by internet users after he bought a life-sized sex doll that looked like Khloé. He even shamelessly reposted a TMZ article about his purchase, prompting X users to label him "creepy."
After host Richard Taite seemingly showed Lamar an image of him buying the sex doll, the former athlete had a bizarre response.
“When you’re really thinking about it, [it’s] like a doll… But then you think about, like, mental health, and how important that is, not just in today’s time, but just from the beginning of time.”
Richard asked, “A sex doll that looks like your wife is about mental health?” Lamar answered, “For me, it would be,” before adding, “I mean, it’s sick, but I think we’re all a little off, a little weird.”
Richard then asked if the doll actually “looked like” Khloé. Lamar said, “Yeah, they gon’ make it to look like her.”
