Lamar Odom "heard voices" while using "pink cocaine", which was allegedly found in Liam Payne's system.
The basketball player spoke to TMZ about Payne’s death and touched upon his own experience using drugs, including the “pink cocaine” substance Tuci.
In a video filmed by TMZ, the publication chatted to Odom on the street and informed the sports star that the One Direction singer was claimed to have traces of “pink cocaine” in his system. “Tuci? It’s what they call that,” he explained as the interviewer asked whether he’d ever dabbled in the drug.

“I think so, I’ve done a lot of things. I’m not ashamed of [it], it’s my testimony,” Lamar told the camera. “Drugs can cause you to hallucinate. If he [Liam] was in a hallucination state, then who knows what would happen.”
When asked whether he’d ever hallucinated before, Lamar said: “I’ve heard voices before. That’s about it.” Odom also admitted he’d had feelings of paranoia while using drugs: “Oh yeah, especially with the forbidden [...] that can really drive you up the wall.”
“I mean, to death? I don’t know because I was always strong enough to, kind of like, bear down, realise that there’s no exception to not being here. You know what I’m saying? I’ll make sure I say a prayer for his family and everyone that he knows.”
He continued on to explain what can happen while using drugs: “If you’re hearing voices then it’s hard to escape those voices. God forbid if those voices told him to do something that led to his fate.”
Lamar also urged viewers “not to do drugs” and “not to put anything up your nose” as there “could be fentanyl” laced inside.
“Who knows. Who wants to get high? I call it getting low. You know what I’m saying? This is the only way up. I hope this is a wake up call for everyone in the industry - Hollywood, music, sports - that drugs don’t discriminate. Age, race, colour, creed, so hopefully this is a wake up call for everyone.”
Former One Direction star Liam Payne sadly died after he fell from a third floor balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 16 October. He was aged just 31.
It has been reported that Liam allegedly had multiple drugs, including crack cocaine and methamphetamine, in his system when he died. ABC News and TMZ reported that a cocktail of drugs called "pink cocaine", which contained methamphetamine, ketamine and MDMA, were found during a partial autopsy as well as crack cocaine and benzodiazepine.
Both publications cited anonymous sources familiar with the tests. Final toxicology results are reportedly not to be expected to be made public for a number of weeks.
